Actress Michaelle, 44, broke the happy news to her fans on Instagram on Sunday after giving birth to their son Edward. Michelle Hardwick, who plays Vanessa Woodfield, met producer Kate on the ITV soap opera.
In their first pictures, the couple both took turns to pose with their newborn following his birth.
Our colleagues at The Mirror report the mothers have given their son a sweet nickname as they plan to call him Teddy.
She wrote on Instagram: "On Friday 9th October, this handsome little chap entered the world.
"Edward 'Teddy' Peter Brooks we are so in love with you #ourlittleTeddyboy."
Kate and Michelle tied the knot and now they have become parents for the first time.
They were married at Elvis' home at Graceland last year.
Within months of dating, the couple were engaged to get married in 2018.
Earlier this year, Michelle opened up about her Emmerdale exit as Vanessa Woodfield so she could go on maternity leave.
Her character Vanessa was diagnosed with stage three bowel cancer.
In the heartbreaking storyline, she got her girlfriend Charity to adopt son Johnny should the worst case scenario happen.
