As the weekend’s snow brought a pleasant change of scenery for some this weekend, thousands of house hunters stayed glued to property websites searching for their new home.

Zoopla’s latest figures have revealed the Nottinghamshire homes that were creating the biggest stir amongst house hunters.

The mix of locations and prices is interesting and in each case, you can understand why the properties have caught the eye of house hunters.

Last week’s most viewed property retained its top slot - it has now clocked up a tremendous 7,065 views on the property portal in the last 30 days. The three-bed semi in Sutton-in-Ashfield is for sale with Turner Chambers Property Services at £150,000 and has a stunning interior and even a bar in the garden.

Following closely behind is a fabulous six-bedroom house in Aspley with 5,920 views. Priced at offers over £480,000 this is another house with an impressive interior as well as a separate, fully air-conditioned gym.

And taking the remaining position in the top three is another three-bed semi, this time in Arnold, with a guide price of £80,000. This property is for sale by online auction this week and has been described by selling agent McHugh & Co as “requiring modernisation”. The auction will take place on Thursday, January 28, 2021.

Tom Parker, consumer spokesperson at Zoopla said: "Family homes are the order of the day for home hunters in Nottinghamshire, with the most viewed properties all having three or more bedrooms.

"For those looking for a contemporary home, the top two most viewed properties fit the bill with modern kitchens and landscaped gardens. While those looking for a property they can put their stamp on, a property for auction in Nottingham is also proving popular. Although in need of renovation, it has plenty of potential and a spacious living area."
