Takakeisho remains in top group with eight wins

Ozeki Takakeisho remained in the top group with his eighth win on the 10th day of the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament, after pushing out sekiwake Daieisho on Tuesday. The other wrestlers in the top five are sekiwake Shodai, No. 8 maegashira Wakatakakage, No. 14 maegashira Tobizaru and No. 9 maegashira Onosho.

Ozeki Asanoyama won by default over No. 5 maegashira Kiribayama, who notified the Japan Sumo Association of his absence on the day. Kiribayama injured his left shoulder in his bout against Takakeisho on Monday, according to his stablemaster.
