Jan. 21--The Bulls have played their best against the NBA's best competition this season.
There's nobody better than the 38-4 Warriors.
The Warriors, who beat the Bulls in Oakland, Calif., back in November by 12, represent the Bulls' lone loss against the six teams ahead of them in the NBA standings entering Wednesday. The Bulls are 2-0 versus the Thunder and Raptors and 1-0 against the Spurs, Clippers and Cavaliers.
The Warriors feature the league's leading scorer in Stephen Curry and the league's highest-scoring offense. They're coming off a 34-point dismantling of the Cavaliers in Cleveland on Monday.
"The biggest thing is energy out of the gate. You have to come out ready to play," coach Fred Hoiberg said. "They had a double-digit lead on Cleveland before you could blink. It was a clinic out there. They're a very good defensive team. And a lot of times their defense leads to great offense.
"Even after made baskets, you have to get back. You have to load to the ball. They do such a good job of throwing ahead. And that's when they start their split cuts and guys diving from all over their place and their movement. They're the best team in the league at cutting and moving and you can't relax."
