A new Godzilla statue makes its appearance on Thursday at a square in front of the commercial complex Hibiya Chanter in Yurakucho, Tokyo. Modeled on the Godzilla featured in "Shin Godzilla," a blockbuster film from 2016, the bronze statue is 3 meters tall, including a pedestal that is 50 centimeters tall. The name of the square was changed from "Nemu no Hiroba" to "Hibiya Godzilla Square."
