This is the first picture of a 19-year-old man stabbed to death in south London as detectives make a second arrest for his murder.

Tai Jordan O’Donnell was found slumped in Alpha Road, Croydon at 12.12pm on March 3 with a number of knife wounds to his legs.

He was pronounced dead at the scene five minutes later.

On Monday, a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at a south London police station, police said.

It comes after Kamila Ahmad, 22, of Robinhood Lane, Mitcham, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with Mr O’Donnell’s murder.

She is due to appear next at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, 10 March.

A fundraiser page has been set up by close friends of Mr O’Donnell’s family to raise money towards his funeral costs.

The Gofundme page, which has so far raised £1,395, has a target of £5,000.

A statement on the fundraiser said: “No parent ever imagines outliving their children, let alone having to deal with the horrific events surrounding his life being taken.

“For all who knew Tai, we thank you for your kind words and acts of love and affection. It shows how much he was loved and treasured.

“So many peoples lives were made more joyful because of this young Kings smile, affection and energy,” it added.

Anyone with information that could assist detectives is urged to call the incident room on 0208 721 4005.
