MANILA, Philippines – Actor Frank Magalona was arrested by Taguig police early Monday morning, June 4, after a woman accused him of pinching her butt.
According to Southern Police District chief Tomas Apolinario, a complaint of unjust vexation was filed against Frank, son of the late rapper Francis Magalona and talent manager Pia Arroyo-Magalona at the Taguig Prosecutor's office. His release was ordered by the fiscal, pending further investigation.
Apolinario had earlier told entertainment portal Pep that the woman accused Frank of touching her inside Revel Bar in Taguig. According to the woman, whose identity was withheld, she was trying to get a drink from the bar when Frank supposedly positioned himself behind her before pinching her butt.
The woman immediately went to the supervisor of the establishment and also sought help from the head bouncer.
Frank has yet to issue a statement on the matter as of posting. – Rappler.com
