Tactical leak! Dog interrupts Sheffield Utd park training session ahead of Liverpool clash by weeing on cones

Sheffield United's players were left in hysterics as an unusual park training session ahead of their Premier League clash with Liverpool was interrupted by a local dog.

The Blades head to Anfield on Thursday night to take on the dominant top-flight leaders in their first fixture of 2020 and will hope to end their opponents' long unbeaten home streak while in the process boost their own prospects of a top-six finish.

Chris Wilder's squad concluded preparations for that high-profile contest in a public setting at the nearby Stanley Park, which traditionally separates Anfield and Everton's Goodison Park.

"No airs and graces, just hard work," Sheffield United posted alongside a picture of the players being put through their paces with Anfield looming in the background.

However, the club got more than they bargained for as the session was interrupted by a dog, who proceeded to urinate on a pile of cones before quickly fleeing the scene.

Sheffield United's amusing video of the incident has quickly gone viral, with the club joking: "Just trying to do an activation session in peace."
