Taco Bell unveils plan for new Nottingham restaurant

Another Taco Bell restaurant could open in Nottingham - in the Victoria Centre.

Plans have been put forward to the city council to change the use of unit in the mall previously occupied by Clean Cut Kitchen.

Firm SSA Planning Limited is acting as the planning agent on behalf of Mexican-inspired chain Taco Bell under the plan to open a new restaurant in the city.

A statement submitted by the agent to the city council states: "Our client intends to take a lease of the above premises with a view to operating the unit as a Taco Bell restaurant with hot food takeaway activity likely to amount to less than half of all hot food sales."

Northgate Fast Food Limited is listed as the applicant.

Taco Bell already has a restaurant in Angel Row.

The new restaurant is planned for Unit R1A, on the lower level and to the front of the centre near Milton Street.

The unit in the shopping centre was previously occupied by Clean Cut Kitchen, before the business relocated to the Clock Tower dining area of the mall.
