Taco Bell gets green light to open second Nottingham restaurant

Fast food chain Taco Bell has been given the go-ahead to open a second restaurant in Nottingham city centre.

The Tex-Mex brand will be moving into a unit in Victoria Centre by the Clocktower entrance in Milton Street.

It has been vacant since healthy eating food outlet Clean Cut Kitchen relocated within the shopping complex.

An opening date has yet to be revealed.

Taco Bell already has a restaurant in Angel Row, serving nachos, tacos, burritos, quesadillas and churros for eating in or takeaway.

Also served are bundles such as party packs with 12 tacos and cravings boxes.

The company - founded almost 60 years ago in California - has recently opened a drive-thru in Lincoln, in Nettleham Road.

It has 7,000 restaurants around the world.
