T3 Live: today's tech news in brief

The end of the Apple notch?

Apple is reportedly planning big changes to its entry-level iPhone SE, which could be launched later this year.

Tipster Majon Bu posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the forthcoming cheaper Apple device could gain the Dynamic Island that it introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro series  but then expanded to the entire iPhone 15 range. It'll put paid to the notch for good.

Bluetooth speakers don't have to look boring

Marshall has partnered with street fashion brand Patta for a special edition of its Emberton II Bluetooth speaker.

It'll be available from 23 February and priced around £180.

Google Pixel should be easier to use in the rain soon

Google will reportedly push an update to its Pixel phones that will increase usability in poor weather conditions.

A touch sensitivity feature has been found in Android 14 beta code that suggests the display will be more responsive in the rain, for example.

Foundation season 3 might not be coming to Apple TV+ as soon as you hoped

Apple TV+ has a fine reputation when it comes to sci-fi TV shows, with the likes of Silo, Severance, For All Mankind and Invasion going great guns.

However, one of its biggest could be struggling to return to the streaming service, with the filming of season 3 of Foundation reportedly delayed once more.

Tesla owners with iPhones get a neat new feature

Tesla is pushing an update to its cars that introduces ultrawide band Bluetooth connectivity.

This effectively means that Phone Key on an iPhone will be more precise when being used to unlock one of the EVs.

If you think transparent TVs are crazy, just get a load of this laptop

Lenovo will reportedly launch a transparent laptop during Mobile World Congress in a few weeks' time.

According to Windows Report, the device features two screens – a touchscreen on the bottom that doubles as the keyboard, and a see-through display on the top. Why? We're not that sure at the minute, but are looking forward to checking it out during the show.

Samsung S24 owners aren't the only ones getting Galaxy AI

Samsung's Galaxy AI suite of tools and features will be coming to the Galaxy S23 series of phones, so you might want to think twice about upgrading quite yet,

However, the Galaxy S21, S22, Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 won't receive the new software, so there's still a decision to be made there if you're an owner.

Brilliant Labs' Frame smart glasses could succeed where Google failed

Brilliant Labs has unveiled a pair of smart glasses that offer some of the AR features of Google Glass, but in a much more friendly form factor.

While everyone else looks at Apple Vision Pro with interested eyes, it could be these $350 specs that steal a bit of the thunder.
