T1’s star support player Keria has shared his thoughts on which Western team could make the deepest run at the 2025 League of Legends World Championship.
In an interview with LCS Profiles, Keria highlighted FlyQuest as the Western squad most likely to place the highest at this year’s Worlds. When asked to name his pick, he offered a measured but confident response: “Since Worlds is where the strongest teams from all regions come together, I think they’re all strong. But if I had to choose one, I’d say FlyQuest.”
FlyQuest had an impressive trajectory over the past year when their 2024 Worlds campaign saw them reach the quarterfinals, pushing Gen.G Esports to a full five-game series, a performance that many fans saw as the West’s best showing since G2 Esports made it to the semifinals in 2020. With that kind of pedigree, it’s easy to see why Keria would single them out as serious contenders.
Heading into Worlds 2025, FlyQuest’s roster looks stronger than ever. Featuring Bwipo, Inspired, Busio, quad, and Massu, the lineup has been firing on all cylinders throughout the season. The team dominated the LTA with an undefeated regular season, claiming the LTA Championship title in commanding fashion.
Their international showing at MSI 2025 further cemented their reputation as a Western powerhouse. FlyQuest went toe-to-toe with Bilibili Gaming, one of China’s strongest teams, in a thrilling five-game series before bowing out in fifth to sixth place. That performance proved they could stand up to the world’s elite, an encouraging sign as they head into the toughest tournament of the year.

Keria’s respect for FlyQuest comes as T1 prepares for another high-stakes Worlds campaign. As the two-time defending champions, the Korean juggernauts have their eyes set on a historic three-peat. The team recently battled Invictus Gaming in the Play-In stage, winning 3-1 to confirm their place at Worlds 2025’s Swiss Stage, and Keria shared his thoughts on T1’s mindset heading into the tournament.
“My confidence comes from how hard we’re practicing,” he said. “I think the practice process is very important.” His emphasis on preparation reflects T1’s trademark discipline, something fans have come to associate with their dominance.
The veteran support also acknowledged the expectations that come with representing T1 on the global stage. “Many fans are looking forward to the T1 vs. IG match, so we’ll practice even more and make sure not to let the T1 fans down. I don’t want to go home so early,” he said.
As the 2025 League of Legends World Championship plays out in China through Nov. 9, FlyQuest will begin their journey in the Swiss Stage, while T1 aim to continue their reign. Keria’s endorsement adds credibility to the growing belief that this might finally be the year a Western team breaks the long-standing Eastern dominance in League of Legends. Whether FlyQuest can live up to that confidence remains to be seen, but with Keria’s vote of respect, expectations around the North American champions have never been higher.
