T1 claims eight spots among the most-watched LoL matches of 2025

T1’s dominance over the League of Legends esports scene in 2025 is clearly reflected in viewership numbers, with the Korean powerhouse claiming eight of the ten most-watched matches of the year.

According to data shared by Esports Charts, the most-watched League match of 2025 was T1’s Worlds 2025 grand finals silver scraps showdown against the underdog KT Rolster, which peaked at 6.75 million concurrent viewers, comfortably leading the chart.

That figure stands far above the rest of the list and underlines T1’s continued ability to draw massive global audiences on the biggest stages. Two more Worlds 2025 matches featured T1 ranked second and third, each surpassing 3.5 million peak viewers, reinforcing how central the team was to the tournament’s overall viewership success.

T1’s presence was not limited to Worlds. The team also featured prominently at MSI 2025, where three separate matches made the top ten, all posting peak viewership figures between 2.6 and 3.4 million. Even though T1 wasn’t able to lift the MSI this year, their three-peat at Worlds made sure that they keep breaking viewership records as well.

Even the team’s regional play made the list, with a LCK 2025 season match involving T1 rounding out the top ten at just over 2 million peak viewers. Across Worlds, MSI, and domestic competition, T1 proved to be the single most reliable draw for fans throughout the year.

The only matches outside of T1’s orbit were two Worlds games involving other top international Korean teams, highlighting just how concentrated top-tier viewership was around the reigning champions, as well as the dominance of Korean teams this year, who always made the finals of the three international events this year.

Like every year, T1 and Faker keep cementing their status as the most watched and most influential team in League esports by a big margin, even this year.
