T-shirt takes shot at Warriors' 73 wins

April 18--There's being a homer and then there's this: An Ohio-based clothing company has created a T-shirt that implies LeBron James outshines the Golden State Warriors' record-breaking 73-win regular season.

The $23 shirt by Mentor, Ohio-based Kingdom Apparel features the No. 23 -- James jersey number -- to the left of a greater sign and the number 73, with the tag line "Greatness is defined in June." In other words, James is greater than Warriors, 73 wins, just wait until the NBA Finals. The mark eclipsed the previous high set of 72 by the 1995-96 Bulls.

The shirt's product page explains further: "All season long, the talk around the league has been all about that team out West. 73 wins in the regular season is the most ever--a great accomplishment.

"But here in Ohio, we've got a number of our own: 23! Cleveland is ready to win this post-season! 'In Northeast Ohio, nothing is given. Everything is earned.' Show off your Cleveland pride with this shirt that says it all. 'Greatness is defined in June' Cheer on the city as Cleveland fights for greatness this June."

So if you're doing the math at home, the Cavaliers' No. 23 is greater than the Warriors' 73, which is greater than the 72 wins led by the Bulls' No. 23, Michael Jordan, therefore Cleveland's No. 23 is greater than Chicago's No. 23, plus 72 wins.

Does that add up?
