Being cut is never easy. For T.J. Lang, getting released by his hometown Detroit Lions was certainly no picnic.
But the 31-year-old guard took the business setback in stride. Following his release from the Lions on Friday, Lang posted a heartfelt thank you to the organization.
He also encouraged Lions fans to stick with the team, noting of Detroit, “they are building something special that this town has long deserved, a championship team.”
