Syria's war: Manbij struggles to cope with influx of displaced

The area around Syria's northern city of Manbij has become a crowded battlefield.

The US and Turkish backed coalitions are both operating in the area, as are Syrian government forces.

This week the US has deployed 400 additional troops to try and keep the peace between Turkish backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) fights and US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) - a group dominated by Kurdish fighters.

Meanwhile, the escalation in fighting is leading to a humanitarian crisis as the city struggles to cope with an estimated 13,000 Syrians who have fled violence in surrounding villages.

Al Jazeera's Natasha Ghoneim reports from Gaziantep on the Turkey Syria border.
