Syria's war: Dozens killed in Idlib air strikes

Syria's government has hit rebel-held areas in the northwestern city of Idlib after a bombing in the capital Damascus.

At least 25 people were killed, including 16 children, in the government raids.

Most were pulled from destroyed buildings by medics and volunteers from the volunteer group White Helmets.

Rebel groups earlier boycotted negotiations in Kazakhstan's capital, Astana, alleging ceasefire violations by Russia and the Syrian government.

Al Jazeera’s Adham Abu Al-Husam reports from Idlib.
