The Turkish military have confirmed strikes against regime targets in north west Syria.
Turkish troops responded to mortar fire from Syrian government troops on a police station in Calibogazi, Hatay province, this afternoon, reported the state run Turkish Anadolu Agency.
However, there was no further detail on how Turkish troops responded.
Turkey has also acknowledged its strikes against the Kurdish PYD in Syria today.
