Officers have seized about 21 kilograms of dried cannabis and more than $14,000 in cash after a traffic stop, according to ACT Policing.

Police said they stopped a grey Ford Ranger SUV on Coulter Drive in Belconnen about 7.40pm on Sunday.

A 28-year-old man was spoken to but not charged, police said.

Police believe a crime syndicate focused on the supply of cannabis and other drugs into the ACT is responsible.

They said the marijuana was found in vacuum-sealed bags in the back of the car.

Police said they also found five mobile phones in the SUV.

Investigations are ongoing.
