Sylvester Stallone-produced reality show casting in Chicago

May 12--The Sylvester Stallone-produced "S.T.R.O.N.G." is in need of people who aren't heavy enough for "The Biggest Loser" but also aren't quite fit enough for "American Ninja Warrior."

"S.T.R.O.N.G." -- which stands for Start To Realize Our Natural Greatness and comes from "The Biggest Loser" creator Dave Broome -- follows six men and six women as they push themselves to get into peak physical shape. Each contestant will have their own trainer. It was only a matter of time before a show like this came out. This is, after all, the CrossFit era.

If you're interested in becoming a contestant or trainer, there will be a casting call for "S.T.R.O.N.G." from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Lucky Strike-Chicago. You must be 18 or older to audition for the NBC series. The show -- Stallone's first reality seriess since co-hosting NBC's boxing competition "The Contender" a decade ago -- is scheduled to film September to November.

Good luck to all the applicants. And if you get chosen, promise me you will never become that gym rat who doesn't shut up about their workout routine on social media. Deal?
