A Sydney woman driving with two children in her car has recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.347 - almost seven times the legal limit.
Police stopped the woman's Hyundai Getz at Emu Plains in Sydney's west about 3.15pm on Thursday, when she returned a positive result during a random breath test.
The 39-year-old's second breath analysis at Penrith Police Station returned an alleged reading of 0.347, police say.
The two children were returned into the care of family members, and police have made a child at risk notification.
The woman was charged with high-range drink-driving and her licence was suspended.
She was bailed to appear before Penrith Local Court on April 23.
A 25-year-old man has also returned a reading in the high range, after he was sprung travelling at 183 km/h in a 100 zone.
Police stopped the vehicle just after 1am on Friday on Camden Valley Way at Prestons and he failed a breath test, with a second breath analysis returning an alleged reading of 0.153.
He has also been charged with dangerous driving and speeding and will face Liverpool Local Court on April 26.
