Immaculate, directed by Michael Mohan, features Sweeney in the lead role of Cecilia, an American nun who uncovers sinister secrets in a remote Italian convent. The film, described as a blood-soaked Sister Act by MovieWeb, is set to compete with Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire at the box office this Friday.
Aside from her acting roles, Sweeney is also making strides as a producer, with credits on Immaculate and the upcoming Euphoria Season 3. She established the production company Fifty-Fifty Films with Jonathan Davino and has a keen interest in horror films, citing her love for the genre since childhood.
