Sydney Kings make it a perfect 10 in NBL

The Sydney Kings have made it 10 NBL victories in a row with a dominant 103-83 victory over Tasmania (13-11) on the road.

Powered by arguably the best import duo in the league in Jaylen Adams and Jarell Martin, the Kings (15-7) led from start to finish on Sunday.

They flew out the blocks and exploded to a 30-14 quarter-time lead before the buffer ballooned out to 28 points at the main break as the Kings stayed hot.

Sydney missed just seven shots in the first half, shooting 75 per cent from the field while having 15 assists to their opponents two.

The JackJumpers struggled from the tip-off and were cut to shreds in transition, chasing the lead with a sequence of attempted three-pointers but they wouldn't drop.

At the main break, Tasmania were 3/21 from beyond the arc, finishing at 30 per cent for the game.

But it was Adams yet again who fired for his side, totalling 20 points, five rebounds and seven assists with Xavier Cooks adding 14 and Martin 13 of his own.

"The first half or our defence was really what set the tone for us, we were aggressive right from the opening couple possessions," Kings coach Chase Buford said.

"Really proud of the way we guarded and we were able to rebound a ton of those shots and we just played fast in transition.

"I think that set the tone for the whole game."

The JackJumpers on their home floor rallied in the second half, outscoring the Kings in both the third and fourth quarters but the first-half damage was irreparable as the hottest team in the league ran away comfortably.

They managed a 16-1 run in the third when Clint Steindl got going, but the guard duo of Adams and Ian Clark took control to sap the air from the crowd.

"They got a obviously dynamite team and super talented across the board and they played very well," JackJumpers coach Scott Roth said.

"We just were never really in the game and, statistically ... they smashed us in just about every category.

"They did a hell of a job and as I told these guys after the game, this game does not define our season by any means."

Sydney will continue their run of away games against Adelaide next round before a trip to Bendigo against the New Zealand Breakers.

Tasmania have the Cairns Taipans at home on Friday and are still a mathematical chance of a finals finish with four games left.
