Sydenham By-pass onslip collision may lead to delays

A collision has occurred at a slip-road leading onto the Sydenham By-pass.

The crash, which is understood to have occurred at around 5.45pm, was on a country-bound lane so may affect rush-hour traffic.

Trafficwatch NI has tweeted that the collision happened “on the A2 slip road past the merge with Queens Road leaving the Harbour Estate - heading to Bangor (this is also the on-slip road to the A2 from Middlepath St)”.

They later added it was at the “A2 Sydenham By Pass on-slip from Queens Road”.

It is understood no one was injured and the collision was not serious.

There is also a broken down car on the M3 off-slip heading to Sydenham Road, they added.
