The Swindon Advertiser has launched a campaign to raise £250,000 to help its local hospice. The paper is lending its support to the Prospect Hospice's proposed Prospect@Home service, which would enable nurses to care for people in their own homes 24 hours a day The hospice hopes to raise £1m to get the scheme started next year, and the Advertiser hopes its backing will ease pressure on fund-raising work.
