An indoor swimming pool with panoramic views will be the star attraction at a new £90m residential development which aims to bring "Manhattan style living to Merseyside."
The indoor swimming pool will be located on the 17th floor of the Parliament Square development on the edge of the city's Baltic Triangle.
The pool, believed to be the highest in Liverpool, is part of a luxury spa facility which will be available to residents. It will boast uninterrupted views of the region reaching as far as north Wales.
The spa will include a jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms and relaxation suites.
A crane lifted the 12-metre pool to the top of the building this week.
Parliament Square will also include a public plaza with shops, residents only gym and other leisure facilitates when it opens next year.
A topping out ceremony was held to mark the completion of structural work on the first tower, which will include 500 state-of-the-art apartments and commercial space across four blocks.
The penthouse in the development was placed on the market for £1.5m. Prices for other apartments in the development start at £94,000.

The development is due to be fully complete by summer 2022.
