A swimmer is dead and another is missing off Wilsons Promontory in Victoria.
The pair got into trouble swimming with friends at Squeaky Beach about 3.40pm on Friday, police said.
A witness managed to pull one man from the water but he died at the scene.
The second man is still missing. A helicopter crew is helping search for him and water police are also on their way.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
