Swiffer’s new PowerMop has only ever been this cheap for Prime Day, and rave reviews call it a 'cleaning marvel'

It's nice when Prime Day deals circle back around, especially when it's an all-time low deal on a product that we find super functional and that’s garnered thousands of five-star ratings on Amazon. Lucky for us, that's the case with Swiffer's PowerMop.

Right now, you can save 34% on what is essentially a supercharged Swiffer WetJet. It has double the nozzles for spraying a cleaning solution and a mopping pad that looks fun and, more importantly, effectively scrubs floors.

You can get the PowerMop, a bottle of cleaning solution, two mopping pads, and batteries to power it all for just $20 on day two of Amazon’s October Prime Day sale, a discount we’ve only seen last Prime Day in July. You’ll need to be a Prime member to shop this one. If you aren’t yet, you can sign up here, and depending on where you live, it could even arrive the same day.

Since hitting the cleaning scene this past summer, Swiffer’s PowerMop has received over 2,700 five-star ratings on Amazon, and over 20,000 folks have purchased it in the last month. And for good reason – it makes cleaning more than just a little bit easier, which I know from personal experience.

The PowerMop improves over the typical Swiffer, like the WetJet, as it sprays out a solution to tackle caked-on grime and dirt. Swiffer added an extra nozzle here and upgraded the design so it’s easy to move the PowerMop around your home or whatever area you’re cleaning.

The dual nozzles, compared to the one on the WetJet, spread the cleaning solution evenly over a bigger area so you can effortlessly move the larger mop head around. For instance, I can easily go around the kitchen center island, making quick and tight turns to clean every square inch of surface area. Or, in the bathroom without picking up my bath mat, I can swiftly—pun intended—navigate around that and any other floor obstacles to clean the tile.

I find it to be a night and day improvement over the WetJet, and one that stretches the value a bit longer thanks to thicker mopping pads with a shag-rug-like design that I don’t need to swap out as soon as similar products, and I don’t use as much of the solution since it disperses so evenly.

The new Swiffer has received similar acclaim from Amazon shoppers, with one reviewer who bought it last Prime Day simply stating: “My older Swiffer did a good job but this one does even better. Love that it scrubs and holds more.”Another shopper said: “This new mop (with newly designed shredded cloth pad) FOR REAL cleans tough tile stains. I was shocked. I am a believer.”

My favorite review is still the one I featured during the Swiffer PowerMops' first-ever sale during the July 2023 Prime Day: “Swiffer Wet Jet Walked So The Power Mop Could RUN.”

“It's nothing short of a cleaning marvel,” another five-star review stated and continued: “It's efficient, convenient, and a time-saver.”

At just $20 for the Swiffer PowerMop starter kit, it’s an excellent time to buy. So whether you’re new to Swiffer or your current WetJet (or even the original model) is getting a bit tired, consider the upgrade to the new rave-reviewed PowerMop while it’s majorly discounted.
