Thousands of chocolate fans have jumped on a bargain deal for luxury chocolate made by the same people who brought us Biscoff biscuits.
Lotus Biscoff Milk Chocolate Original Speculoos Cream Bar has a Biscoff butter filling and can cost as much as £8.93 in retailers but one lucky shopper found it in Home Bargains for £2.99.
Lotus Biscoff Milk Chocolate Original Speculoos Crumble Bar is a favourite of other shoppers who prefer a crunchy bite with chunks of biscuit and again this can be found in the store for £2.99.
That's a saving of over £5 on each bar and, judging by the 3,000 comments on a post on Facebook, they won't be in stores for long.
The original poster said: "Spotted in Home Bargains today - Biscoff chocolate £2.99 each."
This was followed by comments like this one: "Seeing this has just made my day, can’t wait to try it out xxx."
"Oh god, now this would be good with ice cream," said a fan of dessert.
One shopper joked that the deal meant trouble and said: "Please don't get me this if you see it or I'll smash the whole bar in one go then feel guilty."
Luxury chocolate has always been a favourite of those with a sweet tooth, but one shopper said: "This whole chocolate malarkey is getting out of hand now - Home Bargains are involved now."
And another concluded: "Mmmmm yes plz lol xxx we need for our coffee date."
