A city centre sweet shop which came under fire for stocking X-rated confectionery is still selling it six months after promising to remove the display.
Kingdom of Sweets on Cardiff's Queen Street hit the headlines back in August 2021 after one shopper who'd gone there with his 10-year-old daughter was shocked to come face-to-face with a range of risque, adult-themed items - including penis-shaped marshmallows and cola-favoured 'boobs'.
The dad, who did not want to be named, stormed out of store and, after a complaint was made, a spokesman for the business apologised and assured the offending products would be withdrawn from the shelves.

"I don't think it's appropriate for that sort of thing to be in front of children," the man said at the time, adding that he'd emailed Kingdom of Sweets to voice his concerns.
"It goes from a sort of innocent place where they sell Oreos and chocolate bars and stuff to something that should be tucked away where only adults can go."
However, a large portion of the items are currently still on sale, among them 'blow job mouth sprays', 'edible anuses', and 'lust dust'.
Another customer who recently visited Kingdom of Sweets added, "One minute I was looking at cupcakes the next it was candy G-strings.
"To be honest I wasn't expecting it and was a bit taken aback. Not sure I'd be happy about my child coming in here."
