Sweet reason Stacey Solomon waited to announce she was pregnant

Stacey Solomon opened up about the sweet reason she decided to wait until announcing she was pregnant.

Today, the Loose Women panel were discussing when was the best time to tell people when you are pregnant and the superstitions surrounding it.

The 30-year-old, who gave birth to baby son Rex back in May last year, gave her own thoughts.

She said: "You're growing a human, for some people it takes a really, really long time to get there, to get to the place where you're pregnant and there's not any definitive stats out there but in NCT statistics almost 70% of miscarriages happen in the first 12 weeks.

"So I don't think it's irrational for women to say, you know what, i just want to keep this inside and nurture it inside with my close family until I get past those 12 week stage.

"I feel like it's each to their own. I understand why you might want to shout it from the rooftops from the minute you conceive, I know that feeling."

Nadia Sawalha quipped: "I was about to say - she waited six weeks, I waiting six hours!"

Speaking about her own experience, Stacey said: "I can honestly say, as soon as I announced any of my pregnancies it went from 'How are you?' to 'How are you?' [to bump]."

She added: "I love the intimacy with just you and your partner and maybe your mum and dad but there's something about the whole world not knowing... you've got one thing, I don't know, I don't know why it is."

So cute...
