Sweet Liquorice needs a new home

A friendly young dog is appealing to find a new owner.

Animal welfare experts are appealing to find a new home for Liquorice Longlegs a two-year-old lurcher who is currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder Rehoming Centre.

His carers say this sweet and friendly boy loves nothing more than being in the company of the ones he loves and is always first in line for an ear scratch or a good neck rub.

A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: “Liquorice Longlegs can live with children over the age of 12 years old. Liquorice Longlegs is looking for new owners who have had the experience of owning dogs before. He can be shy and unsure when in new circumstances and does need someone who will allow him to gain his confidence at his own pace. He is looking for a quiet home with his own secure garden where he can spend time running around off his lead having lots of fun or relaxing with his family.”

If you think you can offer him a home, contact the centre on 01506 873459.
