There are many, many things you can say about its wonders.
From the mild variety, to the mature and the truly pongy kind, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of varieties to fill your boots.
Now cheese enthusiasts can take their obsession to the next level, as the UK prepares to open its first pop up cheese-themed hotel.
The brie-lliant pop up hotel suite is still in the planning stage, so currently there are only some concept art pictures of of what it will look like.
It will have cheese themed wallpaper, throws, cushions, bedding and even toiletries. There will also be heaps of cheese-themed board games and cheesy music playlists to keep guests entertained.
The amazing suite has been created by Cafe Rouge in celebration of its new menu.
The suite will open its doors in London this month, and it will be free to stay there.
Sound too good to be true? That's because it is. Only nine guests in total will be able to stay in the suite.
And as it's a pop up, it'll only be open for a limited time, from 29 January through to 6 February.
You can't book to stay there, like you do with regular hotel rooms.
Instead, you have to register to enter a draw, simply by emailing thecheesesuite@caferouge.co.uk
The guests will be chosen at random, and will all be contacted by January 21.
Although there is no fee to stay in the suite, guests can donate to the Prince's Trust at the reception.
