Swedish House Mafia tease huge tour announcement during Creamfields Festival 2019 set

It was a night which Swedish House Mafia fans had been waiting for for six years.

Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello all back on stage together.

Rare does a festival set start early, but it seemed the DJs just couldn’t wait to perform their set to fans as they took to the stage ten minutes ahead of their scheduled time.

They’d set expectations high given they’d closed down the whole main stage in order to prepare for their 90 minute performance.

So it’s lucky they didn’t disappoint.

Greyhound was among their first songs, which seemed only right.

Other hits included Don’t You Worry Child, Reload and sampled songs such as ‘Leave the World Behind You’.

It was clear they were each excited to be back and grateful for the support of the thousands of fans who had packed the field to watch them.

Regularly thanking the crowds and telling audiences it was their “pleasure” to be at Creamfields it felt like an almost homecoming.

They wanted fans to be loud, to party and to have a good time and it’s clear everyone did.

And, it looks like fans won’t have long to wait to see the three DJs performing again as they teased the date of a huge announcement as “06.09.2019” flashes up on screen at the end of their performance.
