Swedish House Mafia have announced plans to reunite for a homecoming show in 2019.
The group, made up of DJs Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, will play their first headline show in Sweden since first parting ways in 2012.
They will perform new music at the newly announced show, which takes part at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm on May 4, 2019.
Fans have been speculating about a possible return since the group made a brief appearance at Ultra Music Festival in Miami earlier this year. Mysterious Swedish House Mafia inspired posters also appeared across Stockholm earlier this month, sparking further reunion rumours.
The news was revealed as part of a press conference early this morning, Monday October 22. No further tour dates have yet been announced but fans will be hoping for UK dates over the coming months.
The group became one of the biggest house acts on the planet after forming in 2008, finding success with the singles Don’t You Worry Child, Save the World, Miami 2 Ibiza and One (Your Name).
