Sweden vs Poland Euro 2020 kick-off time, TV channel and live stream info

Sweden go into their final group game knowing a win against Poland will be enough to see them go through to the round of 16 as Group E winners.

Janne Andersson’s side are yet to concede at the European Championships, having drawn 0-0 with three-time European champions Spain before beating Slovakia 1-0 on Friday afternoon thanks to a late Emil Forsberg penalty.

The Swedes have impressed at this year’s tournament, with 21-year-old striker Alexander Isak earning the plaudits during the first two group games, although he is yet to find the net or register an assist.

Poland meanwhile find themselves bottom of the group after two games but will come into the clash with some much-needed confidence following Robert Lewandowski’s 54th minute header against Spain, securing Paulo Sousa’s side their only point at the tournament so far.

The Bayern Munich forward will be looking to add to his goal tally but will have to resurrect the form he has shown for the German champions if he is to get past Sweden’s resilient defence.

Sweden go into the game with no new injury concerns with the impressive Isak and Marcus Berg expected lead the line, with RB Leipzig's Forsberg playing just behind them as the number ten.

For Poland, a defensive reshuffle may be needed with Southampton ’s Jan Bednarek suffering with a muscle problem. Barnsley’s Michał Helik is a potential replacement while midfielder Jakub Molder will undergo a late fitness test for the Poles.

Where can you watch the game?

The game will be broadcast live on ITV4 with coverage starting at 4:15pm on Wednesday June 23, with kick-off at 5pm at the Gazprom Stadium in St Petersburg, Russia.

Fans will also be able to watch the game on ITV Hub online live or on demand once the game ends.

How can each team qualify for the next round?

In terms of progression to the last 16, Sweden have already secured qualification at worst as a third place team following results in other groups. All three other teams in the group can still secure qualification alongside them, with all but Poland able to earn themselves the title of group winners depending on results. If Sweden win, they will be group winners no matter what.

If they do get beaten and the other game between Slovakia and Spain is a draw, then Sweden, Slovakia and Poland will be split for first to third place on results between the three teams.

Poland face something more of an uphill task, knowing they need at least three points against Sweden and will go through in second place only if the other game between Slovakia and Spain does not end in a draw.

Who will the winners face?

The group winners will take on either the third-placed side from Group A, B, C or D in Glasgow on Tuesday, June 29 at 8pm.

The runners-up face the runners-up in Group D (England, Scotland, Croatia, or the Czech Republic) in Copenhagen on the Monday June 28 at 5pm.

And if the third-placed team goes through, they will face either the Netherlands in Budapest on Sunday 28 at 5pm or the Group B winners in Seville at 8pm the same day.
