Police issued the “all clear” Thursday morning after a SWAT team responded to a home in Lawndale for a man threatening to harm himself.
The Chicago Fire Department initially responded about 7:15 a.m. for an EMS call in the 700 block of South Kostner Avenue, but SWAT was called in minutes later after the man locked himself inside and said he might hurt himself, according to preliminary information from police.
The man came out about 9:30 a.m., and the “all clear” was given, police said.
No injuries were reported.
