A Tesco store was closed this morning after it was broken into overnight and a man made off with a dispenser of lottery scratch cards.
Police are investigating the incident which took place at the supermarket giant's Express store in Llangyfelach Road, Treboeth, Swansea.
A notice has been put in the window of the store which reads: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are temporarily closed. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Thank you."

A spokesman for Tesco said there were hopes that the store would be able to re-open later on today.
A statement read: “Our Express store in Treboeth is currently closed while we assist police with their inquiries into a break-in which took place in the early hours of this morning. We hope to have the store open again later today.”
A police spokeswoman said: "South Wales Police was called around 2.35am this morning, Wednesday, December 29, following reports of a man attempting to gain access to Tesco Express in Treboeth, Swansea.
"The man smashed the front window of the store and removed a dispenser which contained lottery scratch cards before leaving via the front of the store.
"Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to contact South Wales Police by one of the following means, quoting reference number 2100450502."
The store became Tesco's tenth in the city when it opened back in January last year, creating 20 new jobs. It is located on the site of the old Pines Country Club, which has been completely transformed by construction company Morganstone on behalf of Coastal Housing into 28 residential properties along with two retail units, the other one occupied by Jenkins bakery.
