A Swansea GP surgery was forced to close after someone tested positive for coronavirus.
A health boss said there was "disruption to services" at Manselton Surgery in Elgin Street On Wednesday, September 2, and the morning of Thursday, September 3, after a positive Covid-19 test result.
A reduced staff team are now in place after the surgery re-opened, and the premises will have a deep clean this afternoon, Swansea Bay University Health Board has said.
It has also reassured patients there is "no immediate concern" for their safety.
Director of primary and community care for Swansea Bay University Health Board, Hilary Dover, said: “Following the return of a positive Covid-19 test result, there has been some disruption to services at Manselton Surgery, Swansea, late on Wednesday, September 2, and early this morning, Thursday, September 3.
“The surgery was closed for a short time, but has now re-opened and patients can contact the practice as normal.
“A reduced staff team are working hard to continue to provide care.
“As a precaution, the premises will undergo a deep clean this afternoon."

Ms Dover added: “Like all GP practices, Manselton also follows current Covid-19 infection prevention guidance, including the use of PPE such as face masks for staff and patients, social distancing and regular handwashing.
“As such, there is no immediate cause for concern around patient safety.”
Swansea Bay University Health Board would not confirm whether it was a staff member or a patient who tested positive for the virus due to confidentiality.
