Swansea City unveil new main shirt sponsor in 'nostalgic reunion' with former fan favourite

Swansea City have announced Reviva Coffee as the club’s new main shirt sponsor for the 2023/24 season.

The Swans have signed a multi-year deal with the UK-based coffee brand with Reviva being showcased on the front of the new home shirt which is set to be launched later this summer.

The deal also sees a former fan favourite reunite with the club, as Gulf Oil - the front-of-shirt sponsor from 1993 to 1996 - owns the coffee brand. The global company is associated with some of the most iconic Swans kits of all time, including the one they wore in their historic Autoglass Trophy win at Wembley in 1994.

As well as taking over the shirt sponsor from Westacres, Reviva, which is set to launch globally next year, will also become the club's exclusive coffee supplier across the Swansea.com Stadium, on the concourses right through to hospitality areas and business conferences.

The continued lack of a betting company as the principal shirt sponsor means the junior shirts will be the same as those for adults for the fourth year in a row.

Announcing the new sponsor on Tuesday, the club said it was "excited to reunite" with Gulf Oil and promised that the partners would be "planning some special activations" during the season to celebrate their shared history.

Confirming the new sponsor, the club's head of commercial, Richard Morris, said: "We are thrilled to have Reviva Coffee prominently featured on the front of our home shirt throughout this multi-year agreement. This new addition to our partnership portfolio opens up opportunities for innovative activations that will resonate positively with our supporters."

"We are excited to reunite with Gulf, a globally recognised former club partner, and we look forward to building on the success of our original link-up 30 years ago," he continued. "Joining their prestigious list of associated sporting brands is a testament to the growth and ambition of Swansea City."

Reviva Coffee and Gulf CEO Mike Jones added: "We are delighted to support Swansea City as they continue their journey. This collaboration presents an excellent opportunity for us to engage with a passionate fanbase and contribute to the club's success both on and off the pitch.”
