Swansea City unveil new home and away kits for 2020/21 Championship season

Swansea City have unveiled their new home and away kits for the 2020/21 campaign.

The Swans kick-start their league season against Preston at Deepdale on September 12, with Steve Cooper's men taking on Newport County at Rodney Parade in the first round of the Carabao Cup seven days prior.

And ahead of Cooper's second campaign at the club, two new Swansea strips have been officially unveiled.

As is tradition, the home shirt is predominantly white with black fading and trims. Featuring a sublimated wave design on the shirt and sleeves, paying homage to the city’s coastline, the home kit also includes black shorts.

The Swans will make a bold statement in their away shirt which features a new vibrant design in turquoise and raspberry.

All jerseys will have ‘Jack Army’ embossed on the back of the necks, as a nod to the club’s loyal fanbase.

There is also an exciting range of training wear including jerseys, polos, hoodies, jackets, shorts, pants and more in grey, orange, purple and turquoise.

Shirts feature the Swansea University logo on the front for the first time.

Earlier this week, it was announced that the city's university would become the club's principal shirt sponsor in a widely-praised move which means the Swans' kits will not feature a betting company for the first time since the 2015/16 campaign.

As a result, junior shirts will feature the same sponsors as those on tops for adults.

The logo will also feature on the home and away shirts of the club’s under-23 and women's teams.

It comes after the Swans announced a three-year extension to its partnership with leading sportswear manufacturer Joma.

The Spanish brand have been the Swans' official technical and sportswear partner since 2016 and will continue to make their kits for the next three campaigns.

Supporters can now pre-order replica kits and training wear online, while the Liberty Stadium club shop will reopen on Friday, August 28.

You can purchase the new strips via the club's official website.
