Swansea City third kit for 2019/20 unveiled and it's a bit special

Swansea City have unveiled a new third kit for the 2019/20 season.

The special yellow shirt celebrates 50 years of Swansea Town becoming a city in 1969, with the kit featuring the iconic Swansea Town crest.

It was exclusively revealed on the club's app at 9am on Friday.

The yellow and blue strip features the badge on the shirt and shorts. The words ‘Oh City Said I’ are also be embedded throughout the stylish fabric

The club officially changed its name from Swansea Town to Swansea City in February 1970, seven months after Prince Charles stood on the steps of Guildhall to declare the town a city in July, 1969.

The new kit follows the successful launch of the home and away jerseys ahead of the new season, with both kits receiving a positive reception.

All adult versions of the new strips have the new official shirt sponsor YOBET emblazoned on the front.
