Steve Cooper has revealed Joe Rodon could miss the remainder of Swansea City's play-off push after sustaining a fresh injury.
The Swans take on Millwall tonight hoping to bounce back from Saturday's surprise home defeat to Luton Town.
Cooper's side come into the match 10th in the table, four points behind Cardiff City who occupy the final top-six position.
However, Swansea have suffered a blow after Rodon picked up a new injury, that could see him play no further part in the campaign.
Rodon was forced into surgery after picking up an ankle tendon injury, which ruled him out until lockdown, with his last appearance coming against Barnsley in October.
And he's now picked up a fresh injury, with Cooper confirming Rodon could now miss Swansea's busy period of fixtures over the coming weeks.
“Unfortunately for Joe, he’s had a torrid time with injuries and he picked one up the day before yesterday in training," Cooper told Sky Sports.
(It’s a) fresh injury, it’s not a repeat of what’s happened before and that’s ruled him out for at least a few weeks - it might even be the season because there’s only three weeks left of the domestic games.
"Fingers crossed that it might be a bit before then but he’s had a tough one again.”
