Swansea City star Declan John has revealed he nearly got knocked over by a car outside the Liberty Stadium after the club's 2-1 win over Hull City.
Taking to Twitter, the left-back quickly dispelled any serious concerns about his well-being, but did admit that a car did hit his leg after he had left the stadium.
He said: "Everyone asking if I got run over at the stadium today after the game, I’m fine the car did hit my leg but managed to get out the way of it!
"Not sure who it was."
Thankfully, all seems well for the defender after his near-miss.
The 24-year-old wasn't involved in Steve Cooper's matchday squad to face Hull - with Jake Bidwell being preferred to start at left-back and Ben Wilmot and Kyle Naughton providing defensive cover on the bench.
Goals from Borja Baston and Mike van der Hoorn got Cooper's reign as Swans boss off to a winning start .
