Swansea City, Nottingham Forest, Norwich City and Reading all chasing League One star - reports

Swansea City are one of several clubs reportedly keeping tabs on Lincoln City midfielder Jorge Grant.

According to TEAMTalk, Norwich City, Brentford and Reading are also monitoring the 25-year old's progress, along with former club Nottingham Forest.

Grant has been a big part of the Imps' strong start to the season in League One, scoring six goals and earning two assists so far this term.

He only joined Lincoln on a permanent deal last season, but reports suggest the club now face a battle to keep him on board.

However, it's not yet known what sort of package would be required to prise him away from the LNER Stadium.

Sources at Swansea have played down suggestions that Grant is on the radar at the Liberty Stadium, and a move would admittedly come as a surprise given the number of attacking midfielders already available to Steve Cooper, who would surely prefer another out-and-out striker if indeed he was to look at strengthening his firepower.

Swansea currently sit sixth after their 1-0 defeat to fellow promotion hopefuls Norwich City on Saturday.
