Here are your Swansea City headlines for Monday, December 27.
Lincoln 'agree deal' for Whittaker
Lincoln City have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Morgan Whittaker on loan from Swansea City in January.
The League One outfit have long been admirers of the Swans forward, who has struggled for game time under Russell Martin this term.
Football Insider claim that Lincoln have struck an agreement with the Swans to take the 20-year-old on loan for the remainder of the season, with Martin and Co keen on the player getting more regular game time under his belt.
Whittaker netted a hat-trick in the Carabao Cup second-round clash with Plymouth Argyle, but Martin has handed him just six appearances in the Championship this term.
Lincoln boss Michael Appleton is said to be concerned about the lack of goals his side are scoring and thinks Whittaker could answer his problems.
Lincoln have disappointed so far this campaign, sitting 20th in the League One table.
Whittaker was linked with a summer move to The Imps, which fell through on deadline day.
Plymouth told to make Garrick deal permanent
Swansea City's Jordon Garrick is certainly making a splash on the south coast.
The 23-year-old has netted five goals in 27 appearances for Argyle this term and it is drawing many to speculate over whether a permanent deal would work best for all parties.
That is the case for Plymouth outlet the Herald, who think a permanent switch would make a lot of sense for all concerned.
They write : "From an Argyle perspective, a permanent deal for Garrick would be perfect. They would get a talented, improving player who they know all about already, and at a good age.
"When Garrick spoke to the local media before Christmas he made it clear how much he was enjoying his time at Home Park.
"Now, he would say that, of course he would, but it was the way he said it which made you believe that given the option he would seriously consider a full-time switch to Argyle.
"From his perspective, he has had a good amount of game time with the Pilgrims and is starting to make a name for himself in the EFL at an ambitious League One outfit.
"Should he return to Swansea and then be on the fringes of their first team in the Championship that upward progression in his career would be threatened.
"Given the success he has had at Argyle, and with the way that the Green Army have taken to him, a permanent transfer would make a lot of sense for all concerned."

The latest fan Swansea column
Here is a snippet from Guto Llewelyn's column this week:
"It’s the Christmas present none of us asked for and nobody wanted, but many of us feared we’d get anyway.
"Yep, starting on Boxing Day, football in Wales once again disappeared behind closed doors.
"It’s a bitter blow for fans who had every right to believe these types of measures were now a thing of the past.
"But last week, the Welsh Government confirmed the dreaded news that sport in Wales will be played in empty stadiums for the foreseeable future.
"So it's back to watching all our football through online streams, without any of the atmosphere which adds so much to the sport we love. A return to the soulless monotony of last season, without our cherished match-day rituals.
"I'm not a scientist and the experts influencing these decisions are basing recommendations on complex projections which take into account countless different factors. I'm therefore not going to pass judgement on whether these new restrictions are justified or not. All I know is that they're triggering a depressing sense of déjà vu for those of us who are fanatical about the beautiful game."
