Your Swansea City headlines for Tuesday, January 11.
Fisher signs
Swansea have completed the signing of goalkeeper Andy Fisher from MK Dons.
Russell Martin has been a huge admirer of the 23-year-old since working with him at Stadium MK.
And on Tuesday afternoon, it was confirmed that the Swans had captured Fisher on a permanent basis.
The shot stopper - who will wear the number 33 shirt - has signed a four-and-a-half year contract with Swansea.
He becomes the club's first signing of the January transfer window, with Kyle Joseph also being recalled from his loan spell at Cheltenham Town.
Ethan Laird and Morgan Whittaker have both left the club this month.
The transfer window closes at 11pm on January 31.
Balogun off to Boro
Folarin Balogun is poised to seal a loan move from Arsenal to Middlesbrough.
The Swans have regularly been credited with showing an interest in the 20-year-old, although a club source recently told WalesOnline that a January move for the striker was not on the cards.
And Balogun is scheduled to undergo a medical with the Riverside Stadium outfit with a view to spending the remainder of the current season on loan with Chris Wilder's side.
New York-born Balogun signed a new long-term deal with the Gunners last year but has made just four first team appearances in all competitions under Mikel Arteta so far this term.
He recently tested positive for Covid-19 but is expected to seal a move to the north east of England in the coming days.

Academy latest
Sam Leverett and Jacob Jones have both signed new deals with Swansea.
The Swans triggered the one-year extension clause in the contract of former Leeds United man Leverett to ensure the midfielder will stay with the club until 2023.
As for full-back Jones, he is now poised to spend the remainder of the current campaign in south Wales after putting pen to paper on a new short-term contract.
Winger Adrian Akande and versatile attacker Kieran Petrie have left the club by mutual consent.
It comes after Lincoln Mcfayden signed a new deal to stay with Swansea until the summer of 2024 while there is also the option for the club to extend that contract by an additional 12 months.
The left wing-back - who joined from Championship rivals Preston last year - wrote on Twitter: "Absolutely buzzing to sign a new deal with @SwansOfficial. Can’t wait for what’s ahead."
Midfielder Dan Williams also signed fresh terms with his boyhood club this week.
Club legend Todd dies
Swansea have confirmed the club's former striker Keith Todd has died at the age of 80.
Todd was a pivotal figure for the Swans between 1959 and 1968 - scoring 96 goals in his 245 appearances for the club.
The forward netted memorable hat-tricks against Walsall, Swindon Town and Manchester City during his Swans career while he also played a starring role in the club's run to the FA Cup semi-finals in 1964.
The Welsh Cup winner is among those included on the club's Wall of Fame at the Swansea.com Stadium.
Part of a club statement read: "Everyone at Swansea City sends their sincerest condolences to Keith’s family and friends at this sad time."
Terriers flying ahead of Swans test
Carlos Corberan admits he has been presented with a number of selection headaches ahead of Huddersfield Town's clash with Swansea after seeing his side beat Burnley in the FA Cup.
Welshman Sorba Thomas proved to be the catalyst in what was a remarkable turnaround that saw the Terriers beat the Clarets 2-1 in the third round of the competition at Turf Moor on Saturday.
Victory over Sean Dyche's outfit means Huddersfield are unbeaten in their last seven matches in all competitions ahead of Swansea's trip to west Yorkshire this weekend.
“This club is going in the right direction," said Corberan.
“We have young players playing in a very demanding competition every weekend because we’ve increased the number of loans, and we’ve got a squad with more possibilities – that was clear from today’s game.
“Every player showed today they have the ability to play in the Championship, so the only problem I have now is picking the team for the next game because I can only select a certain number of players, and we have more than that number of players who are able to play.”
Centre-back Matty Pearson said: “We’re in a good moment at the minute.
“You can see from the last few games; we’ve gone on a bit of an unbeaten run, and we’ve got a good momentum."
Kick-off at The John Smith's Stadium is at 3pm on Saturday.
