Swansea City goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt to join Turkish side Genclerbirligi

Kristoffer Nordfeldt is set to join Turkish outfit Genclerbirligi on a permanent transfer.

The Swedish goalkeeper has fallen down the pecking order at Swansea City this season following the loan arrival of Freddie Woodman.

His four appearances in the 2019/20 campaign have all come in cup competitions, the most recent of which saw him ship five goals in the FA Cup third round loss to Queens Park Rangers at The Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

The goalkeeper's existing deal was set to expire in the summer.

And Swansea have allowed the 30-year-old to seal a permanent move away from South Wales.

It's understood he is currently undergoing a medical with the club.

Genclerbirligi are currently 13th in the Super Lig table.

Nordfeldt joined Swansea from Dutch outfit Heerenveen in 2015 and will leave the Liberty Stadium having made 38 appearances for the club.
