Swansea City face competition from Liverpool and Brighton in chase for highly-rated West Brom starlet - reports

Swansea City are interested in making a move for West Bromwich Albion youngster Rayhaan Tulloch.

That's according to the Daily Mail , which claims the Swans are set to face stiff competition in the form of European champions Liverpool, as well as Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Swans are keen on getting new recruits on board before the start of the season, with a new striker likely to be at the top of the list of priorities, particularly in light of Sheffield United's for star man Oli McBurnie.

It remains to be seen how much of a financial boost the Swans would receive from selling the Scot, but the club would surely face a near impossible battle should Liverpool decide to firm up their interest.

Tulloch, who is just 18, made his first-team debut back in January and, despite the recent arrival of Kenneth Zohore, has strong aspirations to break into Slaven Bilic's plans for the new season.

The forward has netted goals for England at under-16 and under-17s and is highly rated by Hawthorns insiders.
