Swansea City confirm fans can attend Preston match with kick off time moved

Swansea City have confirmed that fans will be permitted to attend their home match against Preston on January 22.

The kick off time has also been moved back to the more fan-friendly 3pm slot following the Welsh Government's recent announcement regarding the easing of Covid-19 restrictions.

Due to surging case numbers in Wales, fans have been locked out of professional sports events since Boxing Day.

However, now that numbers are declining sharply, fans will now be allowed back into stadiums from January 21.

As it was expected to be behind closed doors, the game had been moved to a 12:30pm kick off, but that decision has now been reversed with tickets going on sale.

Fans will be required to show an up to date Covid pass or proof of a negative lateral flow test.
